The Lifespan Faith Development Council (LFDC) members, teachers and volunteers are committed to a loving and supportive environment in which we will respond to each participant's uniqueness.

Our religious education and continuing spiritual pursuits are strengthend by programs offered through "Lifespan Faith Development." The theme this year (2007-2008) is Peace & Justice and there will be elements of this in EVERY age group! Adults, we haven't forgotten about you! Peace & Justice work is how we put our Principles in action and become public witnesses to the healing power of Unitarian Universalism to the rest of the world.

The mission of the Lifespan Faith Development (LFD) Program of the UUCLV is to support each participant's ongoing development by:

  • Sharing the Unitarian Universalist Principles and Sources
  • Nurturing tolerance, respect, harmony, and our sense of religious community
  • Inspiring exploration of diverse ideas
  • Facilitating social justice awareness
  • Enriching the body, mind and spirit

Our program will endeavor to aid in the promotion and growth of Unitarian Universalism and this congregation.
