Many Voices Storytellers meet the second Wednesday of each month.

We welcome any story you're inspired to share. And remember, a storyteller is nothing without a listener. All listeners are welcome, whether or not you choose to tell. We hope you will join us as we take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn more about each other, and ourselves.

Pledging season kicks off for the 2024-2025 Church Fiscal Year on March 16th. Come join us to celebrate this yearly process so we may build up a budget before July 1st, when the year begins. The pledge drive runs from March 16th through April 14th.

Your yearly pledge amounts give us an idea of how much we can expect to be able to spend and save from July 2024 to June 2025. Developing a budget before the year comes lets us know if we can hire additional employees, Committee leaders, needed equipment, pay bills and fees, and to make repairs around our grounds. It's very important for you to look ahead and see what you can afford to give.

Know that your pledge amount can change throughout the year if your budget allows. A pledge does not lock YOU into an amount but it does let us get a glimpse of the year ahead.

Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is a national organization that brings hundreds of thousands of white people into fights for racial and economic justice.

For too long, the Right has hoarded wealth and power by using strategic racism to convince white people that we have more in common with billionaires and corporate elites than with the people of color in our communities. At SURJ, we bring our folks in by offering a better alternative: a just, vibrant future where people of all races work together to win what we need. We do this work by building people power in multi-racial communities across our network — through campaigns, 200 chapters across the country, and deep local organizing projects.

Join us for a Norse Literature circle! We will he reading the book “The Seed of Yggdrasil” by Maria Kvilhaug. We will be keeping with the Scandinavian theme by holding our meetings at Saga in Henderson. For the first session please read pages 19-58.

This group is explicitly committed to creating an inclusive space where all who feel called can participate. This is an explicit anti-racist, pro-queer space. We welcome all no matter ability. Whoever feels called to study Norse mythology and agrees with the conditions of the group are welcome to join us.

We will be discussing it in a private Facebook group and on Marco Polo.

There is a possibility of a Zoom meeting for people who want a more traditional type of book club, but that has not been planned yet.
