Our Faith Development Program is a cooperative effort. Our program thrives on the interest of volunteers that share their time, talents and skills with the church community. These are just a few ways that your involvement can make a difference.
Faith Development Session Leaders - Our program is staffed each year with adult volunteers who are committed to serving on a team. Being a Session Leader in the Lifespan Faith Development program is both a privilege and a responsibility, and every effort is made to match adult volunteers with the appropriate teaching team, class, and curriculum so that the experience is a positive one for all that are involved. Session Leader Training Workshops will be available throughout the church year to accommodate new volunteers. Youth Advisors - Our YRUU’s seek advisors to coordinate and evaluate youth, grades 9-12, including the Annual Worship Service, social activities, social action projects, service to the church community and leadership development on Sunday mornings from September to June. Work closely with other advisors as a team and with Faith Development Director to coordinate youth programming. Holiday Pageant - Each year, the Faith Development program presents this Intergenerational Worship Service event. Volunteers help with the success of this event in many ways but not limited to; costumes, set design, props, music, helping the children and youth in their participation. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute your special skill or talent towards a creative and memorable time for our Lifespan Faith Development Program. |
