*Three Square does not deliver on holiday weekends so our event will be a week later or earlier than normal

UUCLV is hosting its own food pantry in the morning of the third Saturday of each month. Partnering with Three Square (Southern Nevada’s food bank), we will be providing fresh food as well as food with longer shelf life. Our congregation is located in an area with very few food pantries, so we hope to serve an important need in our neighborhood. We need LOTS of hands to help with this work, in many ways. Interested? The Food Pantry Occurs ​Every Third Saturday each month
It is open to members of the congregation, and the larger community. Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, until supplies run out. This pantry has been created in conjunction with Three Square.

Distribution will be CONTACTLESS, DRIVE-THROUGH, & Limited Walk-In. Food items will be placed into vehicle trunks. We will be strict about maintaining 6 feet of distance, and all volunteers will wear facial covering.

Food distribution begins at 8:00 AM but volunteers are needed from 7:00 AM through clean-up. Any and all help is appreciated. Please contact us if you'd like to help at [email protected] - Contact us if you need more information.

Members of UUCLV nominate local groups that align with UU values, so that our giving reaches beyond our doors to our wider community. Organizations that we have shared our support with include: James Boys & Girls Club; Future Smiles; Poetry Promise; Safe Nest; Transcending the Gender Box; Families United 4 Justice; LV Street Medics; The Rape Crisis Center;  Southern Nevada Sierra Club. Friends and members can submit a nomination of a local organization by requesting a nomination form from [email protected].
