We invite you to take some time from your day to pause, light a chalice, and reflect on what it means to practice living out each of our 8 principles. This celebration is for everyone young and old.

| Our Eight Principles On the first day, we reflect on The 1st Principle: The inherent worth and dignity of every person On the second day, we reflect on The 2nd Principle: Justice, equity and compassion in human relations On the third day, we reflect on The 3rd Principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations On the fourth day, we reflect on The 4th Principle: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning On the fifth day, we reflect on The 5th Principle: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large On the sixth day, we reflect on The 6th Principle: The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all On the seventh day, we reflect on The 7th Principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part On the eighth day, we reflect on The 8th Principle: We covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
