Imbolc

Have you heard our lady sing?
She Comes, and brings along the hopes and dreams that only come with each and every spring, she gives life to the Acorns below, as too the bud and the blossom grow. Then nests are formed upon ancient boughs as well the Rooks, Ravens and Crow. She wakes them all to bring splendor and grace to life’s loving embrace as she breathes them life cast forever ever on it goes. (adapted from The Elves and the Pixies had a Feast, by Tim Wykes.)

Come along as we celebrate the return of Brighid! Although we still feel the cold dark of Winter, She returns little by little every day, fulfilling the promise of Spring and Life renewed!
There are two options for being a part of our celebration:

Opt #1 - Imbolc Zoom Ritual / Friday Feb. 3rd @ 8:00pm
Opt #2 - Imbolc In-Person Ritual / Saturday Feb. 4th @ 7:00pm

Both options will feature the musical talents of Abigail Spinner McBride! Feel free to attend either or both!

Deer Mother takes flight from the dark of the old year to bring light and life to the new.

As we enter the cold darkness of the Winter Solstice, we invite you to come and celebrate the light within us all!

In winter everything lies dormant in the silent earth; it is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the awakening and slow build toward brighter days.

Taking time in winter for quiet reflection and meditation is a gift of love to ourselves that will replenish us for our work in the world. If we use this time well, living in harmony with the season, we then will have the energy to move outward into the world when spring comes, and everything begins anew.

On this, the longest night of the year, we remember the season and to be grateful for the light of the sun (even when we can't see it) as well as the light and darkness that resides within each of us. We are grateful for another Winter Solstice.

We will have a special Solstice meditation, and the enchanting voice of
musician Abigail Spinner-McBride.

Join us - for without your light, our world would be dark;
without your warmth our lives would be cold.

The final Harvest approaches.
The Threads of life have been woven; we have met our challenges with courage. Now is time for reaping...

The fields are bare, the leaves have fallen from the trees, and the skies are going gray and cold. It is the time of year when the earth has died and gone dormant. Every year on October 31, the Sabbat we call Samhain presents us with the opportunity to once more celebrate the cycle of death and rebirth.
Tonight we Seek the Moirai. Calling upon each of the Fates; reflecting on our journey as we pass from this year, and step anew onto the path of the year ahead.

This Samhain we invite you to share sacred time and space with us in person! This will be a hybrid event, with online access for all our dear friends who are with us from afar. Come - be part of the magic!

Doors will open at 7:30 pm
Ritual at 8:00 pm

Potluck to immediately follow, please bring a dish to share and get to know our fantastic Goddess Community!

Join us for a Norse Literature circle! We will he reading the book “The Seed of Yggdrasil” by Maria Kvilhaug. We will be keeping with the Scandinavian theme by holding our meetings at Saga in Henderson. For the first session please read pages 19-58.

This group is explicitly committed to creating an inclusive space where all who feel called can participate. This is an explicit anti-racist, pro-queer space. We welcome all no matter ability. Whoever feels called to study Norse mythology and agrees with the conditions of the group are welcome to join us.
