​Southern Nevada Old-Time Contra Dancers

What is Contra Dance?
Contra Dance is a North American form of folk dance, with its roots in the English Country Dance and Scottish Country Dance traditions brought over by settlers from those countries. 
​
It is a "grandparent" of the more widely recognized American Square Dance, but Contra Dance has older origins, and is much easier to learn.

• $10 for SNOCD Members, students and active military with ID.
• $5 for children of members.
• $15 for adult non-members 
• $10 for children of non-members.
• SNOCD Memberships are available for purchase at the dance check-in table.
