Ursula K. Le Guin tells us that “Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.” Love, to be liberating, must be love that is embodied and made new all the time. This service is an exploration of the ways in which we can understand and embody an expanding and liberating kind of love in our daily lives.
| Rev. Tania Marquez is an ordained UU community minister currently serving as a hospital chaplain at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego. Rev. Marquez is also a Spiritual Director with a passion for poetry, beauty, art, and community. She is the proud mother of two young girls. Her ministry is informed by her Mexican, immigrant, and fronteriza experience, as well as for a passion towards collective healing.
