Easter Sunday Services
There will be two services on Easter Sunday
Universalist Easter at UUCLV
with The Reverend Gordon Clay Bailey
On this Easter Sunday, in most churches around the world, people celebrate the bodily resurrection of Jesus as Christ. How do we, 21st century Unitarian Universalists, enter into this story? Where does resurrection happen in our lives & the world? Join us for an early service on this Easter morning as we look deeply at our understanding and spiritual connection to this high holy day.

Equinox, Passover, Easter- What’s a UU to Do?
with The Reverend Gordon Clay Bailey
For many Unitarian Universalists, the celebrations and commemorations during the Spring give reason to pause. Rebirth, Exodus and Freedom, Resurrection and New Life inform the narratives so often espoused in our modern western world. I believe these holy days are more often metaphorical than literal. Given the reality that we come from many different perspectives and in fact, have so many interfaith families, what is a UU to do but to learn, enjoy, and at the end of it all, give thanks for the many traditions that grace our faith. See you on the 4th for a service of Love for Our Common Bonds.
In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the UUCLV congregation has suspended most in-person programs and events for the time being.
UUCLV will hold Virtual Worshipful Gatherings on Sundays until such a time that we can come together in-person again.
You can join us at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84823621393 on Sunday mornings.
The Zoom room opens at 10:25 AM. Worship begins at 10:30 AM
Please message us at [email protected] for the Zoom passcode.
