Our Water Communion marks the traditional start of the congregational year, it is a time of ingathering, of coming back together after some of us have spent the summer away or traveling.
Let’s meet in person if possible? Let us mingle together the waters we've collected over the summer, as has been our tradition for so many years. If staying home is for you then have your water nearby and pour it forth as the service happens. Since so many people did not travel this summer, the water poured could be water from your facet or travels from a previous year.
However it happens, let's gather the spirit. Let’s celebrate the fact that we are called to be together again. Let’s kick the season off with good cheer. Our time for gathering is here!
The UUCLV congregation has eased back into in-person services with a hybrid system.
